About Laurie
We are a family living out the county, with loads of space, surrounded by forestry and a stream for your dog to enjoy. We have 2 lovely dogs a Lab cross, Pepper and an Yorkshire terrier, Pudding, a big ginger cat Eddie and a rescue pony, Pearl. I have always loved animals and have had dogs, horses and cats all my life. I worked in a vets over the summer as a teenager and regularly take care of neighbours and friends animals for holidays at the moment. We are home all day and would welcome your furry friend any time.
We have a lot of outdoor space for your dog to enjoy and they would be sleeping in our utility room we can arrange a crate or bed whichever they are more comfortable with and again can have company of our dogs or separately whichever they are compromise with. We are home all day and are available for bookings 7 days a week. When outside we will keep your dog on a lead or contained in a secure area for safety although we do have good fencing and gates. We will also walk your dog at least twice a day in our forest. Indoor once they are comfortable they will be free to roam the house and become part of the family. I have experience with a lot of breeds big and small, I also have had to care for my own and family members dogs which are on regular medication and required drops, cleaning and injections.
I regularly mind family and friends dogs, horses, cats and tropical fish during holidays and my house is a drop in center for dogs. I have extensive experience in caring for dogs including older and unwell dogs which require a little more TLC. I am well used to walking dogs particularly heavier breeds. I have volunteered in the DSPCA, its always a struggle to not bring dogs home with me
