Deluxe Dog Sitting/ Boarding in Clonakilty

Welcome to our profile 🐾 We have two Labradors ourselves, Bó (20-months-old) and Ruby (5-months-old). They are kind and sociable dogs, ready to play with whoever comes to stay. Bó and Ruby are kept on leads for all high-traffic, high-population or unpredictable areas. They wear Tractive GPS on their collars 24/7. We allow them off-lead at places where they are familiar with and safe such as the beach and remote wooded/farm walks (in line with public area policy of course). Our accommodation 🏡 We have a large secure garden (over 500m2) for your pet to freely roam and sniff off-lead. We also recently fitted a cozy outdoor shed with heated bedding inside and a dog run attached should your pet want a rest/break from the action of the main house. When your dog is ready, they are welcome to join us fireside on the couch! We insist that your dog has access to all home comforts and typical routines when they come to stay with us. By night, our dogs sleep in the adjoining garage to the house, so they are always heard during the night if they cry or bark and are attended to accordingly. We have a small-medium crate and an extra large crate that we can make available to your dog to sleep in. Otherwise, if toilet trained, they are welcome to sleep freely alongside our dogs on microfibre bedding. We are lucky enough to have ample space throughout the house so your dog can sleep in a different room to our pets, if preferred. We have both indoor and outdoor cameras to alert us to your pets needs (e.g. at night, we can check on them as they sleep through the live stream). Day-to-day activities 🦮🐕‍🦺🌊 • As is already part of our routine, we can take your pet on daily beach/town/farm walks. • Garden play: We often play fetch in the garden. As it is very spacious, your pet can reach top-speed without accident. We also like to play tug-of-war. Once our pet-guest is comfortable and confident with our two dogs, we do allow for supervised dog play e.g. chase. • Your pet will have access to many chew toys and soft teddies throughout their stay. • Photoshoots.. seriously 😅 Áine enjoys photography and will send you regular photos/updates on how your pet is getting on with us. • We have a mini, shallow paddling pool and sprinkler that we like to pull out on hot days!! 💦 Our Ethos ☮️ We will care for your dog as we do our own, with patience, love and affection. As we begin to get to know your dog, we will take note of their cues and interpret what they may want at any given moment. We always had pets growing up and now, as young professionals, we have two medium-large dogs of our own. It’s a mad house, but we love it!! Having sent our dogs to many pet-sitters, formal daycares and bording kennels over the years, we are very clear on what we want for our dogs while we’re away… and that is what we’re trying to offer through this platform; deluxe, detailed-orientated care. Our availability 👫 We can only offer dog boarding on weekends - from Friday evening until Sunday evening - as we both work full-time during the week. Please note that all dogs staying with us must be fully vaccinated and enjoy the company of other dogs to ensure they can have a safe and enjoyable stay.
