Dog sitter in Cork

Hello, I'm Sonia! I had a golden retriever who sadly passed away last year. I always absolutely loved taking care of dogs and always treat them as my own! I know how important they are and they always bring me joy and comfort. In exchange for the happiness they bring, I take the most care of these furry friends, no matter the breed or size. I used to take care of three mixed breeds for weeks as they were the dogs of a friend of mine who trusted me to be walking them regularly and give them all the love and attention they needed! I was also dog sitting through the app for people who were going away for a weekend or for a day. As I am living in an apartment I do prefer to do day care. After a bad experience boarding a dog who wasn't socialised and trained (the dog was aggressive to my friend and my partner living with me + damaged furniture), I will only accept to take care of dogs overnight if I know them or if we can meet them beforehand. If your dog has behavioural problems it's IMPORTANT they are aware of it for their safety and other people's safety. As much as I love all of the dogs, dog sitters should have the right to refuse to take your dog if they're territorial or too possessive. They shouldn't be surprised by your dog repeatedly growling and barking at other people, and they shouldn't have to be constantly scared of the dogs reactions with everyone else. If your dog is like this, get help from a trainer and find dog sitters that are used to this type of behaviour and live in an environment where they can avoid any possibilities of aggression. ]
