About Amy
I'm a responsible and caring person with a passion for animals. Any chance I get to be around an animal I will jump at!
I used to manage restaurants for a few years and have decided to take a step back and do something that I really love, spending more time with the bestest creatures.
I grew up looking after animals, helping my grandmother look after her numerous pets on her farm throughout the years. I've always had dogs and cats myself, but havent owned one since my last cat passed away In 2020. His name was chilly pepper and he was a big fat ginger boy who I loved dearly.
So I have oodles of love to give to other pets right now. Wheather it be walks, pet sitting in your own home as I know most animals are far more comfortable on their own turf. Or even just calling in during the day for playtimes/ feeds etc. willing to spent up to 30 mins at a time for daytime call ins. Even mini walks for toilet breaks during house calls as it's good to stretch the legs.
I'm available almost all afternoons and evenings at the moment and I live close to the Lough for walks. I also drive so pick ups and drop offs are no issue. Even if your best friend wants a day at the beach I'm willing to accommodate. No pet will be left off lead in my care because it's safer for both them and other pets in the area, also not being the owner, the pets recall is not always guaranteed.
I have experience administering oral medication to pets and also eye and ear drops and cleaning are no issue, as I used to help my nan with these tasks on a daily basis with her animals, so I'm well used to being gentle when administering medication and treatment.
