    About Neil

    Heya,
I am located in Dublin 7, I am eager to learn and love your pets. I will look after your pets and leave you stress-free knowing they’re in safe hands. I am experienced with big powerful dog breeds such as XL Bully's, Great Danes, St. Bernard's, etc. As well as small breads such as dachshunds, French bulldogs, and bichon frise's
In the past 5 years, I've taken a real interest in dog training and has been implemented into my own dog a 3-year-old Staffordshire bull terrier whose name is Chunk.
I'm available to provide pet sitting services throughout the day, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings, ensuring flexibility to accommodate your schedule.
Services I offer include:
- Overnight stays
- Daytime visits
-Check-ins
-Walks
As part of my services, I'm equipped to administer oral medication and offer light grooming for your pets. During home visits, I dedicate a minimum of 30 minutes to ensure your pets receive ample companionship and attentive care. Additionally, I'm more than happy to assist with any other tasks like watering plants and collecting post, etc. at your request
Your pets will be cherished as my own in my care, and their well-being is my top priority. Throughout our time together, I'll maintain constant communication and send regular photo updates, so you can have peace of mind knowing they're happy and well-cared for in your absence. As a dedicated dog sitter, I prioritize the well-being and happiness of every canine in my care. With experience handling a variety of breeds, including powerful ones like Staffordshire bull terriers, pit bulls, and Bernese Mountain Dogs, I ensure each dog receives the specific care and attention they require. My approach to dog sitting involves creating a safe and comfortable environment where dogs can thrive. This includes regular walks, ample playtime, and adhering to any dietary or medical needs. I understand the importance of maintaining routines and consistency to help dogs feel secure and relaxed in my care. My availability as a dog sitter is flexible, allowing me to accommodate various schedules and last-minute requests whenever possible. Whether it's for a few hours during the day or overnight stays, I strive to be there for both the dog and their owner when needed. Additionally, I believe in open communication with pet owners, providing regular updates and ensuring peace of mind while they're away. Building trust and rapport with both dogs and their owners is essential to me. In addition to caring for larger breeds like bullies, pit bulls, and Bernard mountain dogs, I also had the privilege of minding rescue Romanian fighting dogs. These dogs, often labeled as dog-reactive or human-reactive due to their challenging pasts, required an extra level of love and care. Understanding the trauma and fear these dogs experienced, I approached each interaction with patience, compassion, and a deep understanding of their needs. Building trust with them was a gradual process, one that required consistent positive reinforcement and gentle guidance. I learned to anticipate their triggers and tailor our activities to create a safe and supportive environment for them to thrive. Dealing with dog-reactive and human-reactive dogs taught me valuable lessons in empathy, resilience, and the transformative power of love. Despite their troubled backgrounds, these dogs were capable of immense loyalty and affection once they felt secure in their surroundings. Witnessing their progress and seeing them blossom into confident, happy companions was a truly heartwarming experience. Through my interactions with these remarkable dogs, I gained a newfound appreciation for the resilience of the canine spirit and the importance of giving every dog, regardless of their past, a chance to experience love, kindness, and acceptance. My home is a townhouse with a small backyard but located right next to the TUD grangegorman park. This is where my staffy chunk loves to play and walk around and meet other dogs when he comes up to visit from Sligo. Your pet will be sleeping in the same room as me whether they are crate trained or not. There is plenty of space in my bedroom for your doggies. I have a very flexible schedule in college and with that being only a 2 minute walk from my house I am constantly in close proximity to your precious little angels 18

Thanks Neil! Séamus has a great day with you in the sun. We got loads of pictures throughout the day and Séamus came home tired and happy!

Neil is brilliant! He kept us updated with pictures throughout the day and he even picked Seamus up from our house that morning. Seamus was so comfortable with him straight away and has been pulling us back to Neil’s house on his walks since!
