Welcome to BeechLodge Resort 🐾 I am Dannii 👋 an animal enthusiast and dog aficionado on the Meath/Dublin border, surrounded by beautiful countryside! I am within 35 minutes of most of Dublin, all of Meath and also Drogheda! A little bit about me is that I have been brought up around dogs my whole life, from German Shepherds to Jack Russell to Beagle, to Great Dane! I grew up attending dog shows held by the kennel club and GSA, as my mother was the chairwoman. I have dog grooming experience also, as I worked in a dog groomers previously. I have a great understanding of dogs and behaviours! I will make sure your dog gets the best care and attention, exercise and plenty of play time, so that your pup goes home happy and fulfilled. Of course this is all depending on breed, age, health and what you need for your dog. I am comfortable with any breed that has a good temperament and it is important doggies visiting are indoor/toilet trained!! At my home there are always filled water bowls in every section of property so lots of hydration :) I also have a nice dog friendly spray if you want a little spritz on them you can request this ☺️ When working in grooming, I handled a variety of breeds, from akitas and greyhounds to bichon frise and chihuahua. I have boarded dogs as big as Old English Sheepdog and as small as miniature dachshund ☺️ My home is on more than half an acre of land, with a large back and front yard (secure) and also a fenced Astro turf with a hut for napping on warm days, and secure decking area that leads into my sunroom! I have indoor areas for dogs that like to be inside mostly 😊 I have acres of fields beside my home and beautiful country roads to go for walks on for miles. I have my own dog. He likes other dogs and is socialised, unfortunately he has problems with his hocks so he cannot run around playing, or chasing as it results in re-injury but loves to watch! Uno has his own space on a separate space in my property for when I host dogs so if your doggie isn’t social with other dogs and prefers his/her own space that is absolutely no worries at all, as everything is seperate and secure ☺️ I am very familiar with this from grooming and working with dogs so I’m extremely careful and cautious. It is about whatever is most comfortable for your doggie and yourself, I can make it work 😊 Either way your dog will have their own space and comfort both outdoor and indoor! I will make sure your pup gets the best care. I will treat them like one of my own😊 I also send daily updates of your fur-baby :) Your dogs have full access to over half an acre of land and different play areas on property, plus indoor area.. it’s doggie nirvana here ☺️ Dogs that enjoy walks and require more exercise get walked everyday! All dogs get plenty of play time in my garden throughout the day, I throw balls for dogs that are play driven and dogs that are not can do as they please and enjoy all the smells and places to explore! For Dog Walking only, I only walk dogs that live within a 15KM radius of me 😊 I hope you consider me to take care of your furry family member 🐾
