About Flaminia
My name is Flaminia and I am 26. I'm Italian but I've been living in Dublin for two years.
I have a huge passion for animals and a lot of experience as a dog sitter.
I got my first dog to walk back in 2015 when I was 18. A female english setter, after 4 years of being her sitter I ended up adopting her. She still lives with my family back in Italy.
Between 2015 and 2021(the year I moved to Dublin) I walked around 15 different dogs. I also host some dogs and cats at my house during their owners holidays.
I gained experience with pretty much all the sizes of dogs, from Yorkshire Terrier to
Czechoslovakian Wolfdog.
In 2018 I started volunteering for a local shelter in my italian city. There I found my Rex. An 8 years old Rotweiler whom I adopted. For the first year of our lives together it was just me and him as I was living on my own, then I decided to move back to my parents house.
Rex was with us until November 2022 when he died at almost 14 years old.
His ashes are now here in Dublin with me and his name is tattooed on my arm

I got my first dogsitting job back in 2015 when I was 18. A female english setter, after 4 years of being her sitter I ended up adopting her. She still lives with my family back in Italy.
But my passion for animals comes early in my life.
The day my parents brought me back home for the hospital after my birth, I was welcomed by 7 dogs and 1 cat.
My dad always loved dogs.
I grew up surrounded by animals, spent my entire life with them.
I am really passionate about this job and I am excited to get out there and meet a lot of furry friends.
I've been missing spending my time with dogs.
I'm a loving and caring person, ready to walk dogs in any type of weather.

I can walk multiple dogs at the same time.

I learned how to give dogs injections during my teenager years when my old dog Baloo started to get sick.
I unfortunately live in an apartment in Dublin City Centre. I am not able to host animals at my apartment as it is against the building rules and I don't have access to a garden.
I am more than happy to collect dogs from their house and walk them whenever the owner prefers.
I can also take care of the dogs at the owners house if the need to go on holidays.
