At Poochies Lodge Laois we offer a home away from home experience for your dog. We welcome them with open hearts into our home where they will be treated as part of the family, giving you that piece of mind while away. We are located in the picturesque countryside of county Laois, on the Kilkenny border. A 15 minute drive from Portlaoise and a 25 minute drive from Kilkenny City/Carlow. We live on a lake by the woods where we love to take the dogs out for beautiful scenic walks. Your dog will have free roam of our home and large secure back garden, enjoying plenty of playtime, toys and treats. As I work from home they will never be left alone. They will sleep cosy inside our home and be treated like one of our own. Our friendly and lovable Cavapoo boys Odin (5) and Hachiko (1) love making new furry friends and will go out of their way to welcome yours. We understand how tough it can be to leave your dogs in the care of others, you can be assured that we are well experienced caring for all types of dogs and have multiple repeat guests who highly rate us. You can rest comfortably knowing they are in good hands and you will be kept updated with pictures/videos of their adventures! We provide overnight boarding and day care. Our guests love to book in with us when going away on holidays, work commitments, or just a fun and relaxing trip for their dogs! We believe 1 on 1 personalized care is essential when taking care of your dog which is why we only allow a handful of guests at a time, ensuring your dog gets all the attention they deserve while staying with us. We prioritize the health of our furry visitors which is why it is important for them to be up to date on their vaccinations. We cater to any special requirements your dog may have and we can administer medication if needed. You are more than welcome to visit us for a meet and greet in advance of your booking.
