It is essential that your dog gets on with cats for the stay to be successful. I grew up on a farm so I've known and been around animals all my life . Our dogs and cat live as part of the family, constantly pottering around with me in the house when the kids are at school and then out playing football etc with the kids in the evening then it's up on the couch for some TV!
