Your Dog's Home Away from Home

Hello! My name is Deanna and I’m a long-time dog owner and lifetime dog lover based in Castleknock, Dublin. My partner Jack and I (no children) have a home on a low-traffic road within walking distance of Dublin's Phoenix Park. We spend a lot of our time there so know all the best spots for a safe/undistracted walk for your dog. Our estate also boasts two large greens if your dog needs multiple outings per day. Our mid-sized back garden is fully secured with high walls and gets great sun all day for any sun-bathers. I drive a Jeep with a large boot and also have two Solvit Pet Booster Seats, so I’m well equipped for small and large dogs. We live within 2 minutes of a Village Vets in case of an emergency or urgent care your dog might need. I work from home every day (except Wednesdays) so I have flexible availability for daycare and overnight stays. If you require a Wednesday slot, reach out to me and I can check if I can rearrange my work schedule that week. Dogs have always been such a massive part of our families and lives. In 30 years we have had the pleasure of owning over a dozen dogs between us - ranging in various breeds from Bernese Mountain Dogs to Dalmations and Labradors, including big dogs like Dobermans and a Rhodesian Ridgeback, as well as smaller dogs like Cocker Spaniels and a Yorkshire Terrier. We now dote over my family dogs, two spoilt little Dachshunds. The two sausages live mostly with my parents just down the road and stay with us multiple times a week - great if your dog likes a walkies partner - but if not, and they’re not well socialised we’ll make sure the dogs aren’t here for your dog's stay. As a dedicated dog sitter, I prioritize the well-being and happiness of every furry friend entrusted to my care. With a keen eye for detail and a compassionate approach, I ensure all their needs are not just met, but exceeded, providing tailored care and unwavering attention to make their time away from home as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. When dogs stay with me, they can expect a home away from home filled with love, care, and fun! From cosy cuddle sessions to exhilarating playtime, I tailor each experience to suit their unique personality and preferences. Daily walks, engaging activities, and plenty of belly rubs are just a few of the perks awaiting them. With a focus on safety and comfort, I ensure their stay is not only enjoyable but also enriching, leaving tails wagging and heart's content. I know the fear and anxiety that can come with leaving your beloved pet in a stranger's hand, but I can assure you I will treat your dog as my own. We have space in our home for just one dog at a time (or possibly two from the same household depending on size), so your dog will get our utmost attention and care during their stay.
