Hi I'm Saoirse I absolutely love animals and have owned dogs, cats, hamsters and guinea pigs. I work from home and currently have no pets of my own, so your dog will get lots of attention. I would love to have a dog, but, unfortunately due to needing to travel every few months, this isn't an option for me. So instead, I would love to take care of other peoples dogs, whenever I can. I have returned to dog sitting after a two year travel break, so please keep that in mind when reading my great reviews! I live in a dog friendly housing estate. My apartment is ground floor with a terrace and a green just outside. I have a lot of experience caring for dogs and can confidently say that out of all the pets I've ever owned, dogs have always been my favourite. I have plenty of time during the day for walking and playing with your dog. Your dog will get lots of attention and love. I have included above pictures of some of the dogs I've owned and cared for. It was so difficult to choose which ones, they were all so cute :) GENERAL BOOKING INFORMATION - Please note for dog boarding: Please list the correct drop off and pick up times in your booking request so Gudog can calculate the correct fee. - It is preferable that all dogs have up to date vaccinations and are microchipped. - I require a confirmed booking before a meet and greet is arranged. If for any reason you need to cancel, a full refund is applicable up to 3 days before the start of your booking. This refund will exclude the meet and greet fee if that service was provided before you cancelled your booking. - Additionally if you are requesting a stay longer then 4 days and are not a repeat client, I require you to add a meet and greet to your booking before the longer stay. This is to ensure your dog is a good fit for my home. - You will receive two daily updates and your dog will get one 60 minute walk per day (this can all be customised to suit you and your dogs needs). - It is preferable that you bring your dogs bed, toys and food to reduce homesickness. However, I can provide these if needed. - Please note for dog walking: I only provide dog walking services within the limits of Galway City. The hour slot you book is not the walk duration, it is the time it takes me to commute to your home and then walk your dog. For example, if you live 10 minutes from me, your walk will be 50 minutes! - Additionally, for legal reasons I cannot care for the following breeds or their crossbreeds at my home: American Pitbull Terrier, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, English Pitbull Terrier, Bull Mastiff, Doberman Pinscher, German Shepherd, Rhodesian Ridgeback, Rottweiler, Japanese Akita, Japanese Tosa. Generally I will not take any ban or bully breed or their crossbreeds, even those not listed specifically above. - Please be aware that I don't accept bookings for very high energy dogs who enjoy lots of outdoor time as these dogs are not a good fit for my home. - In addition, I do not accept bookings on partially filled profiles. Your dogs profit must be detailed and include pictures of your dog and a detailed description of your dogs behaviours, feeding and walking routines and any health issues.
