Hello! My name is Shauna, I'm a full-time vetted dog sitter based in Abbeyknockmoy, Co.Galway. I've been dog sitting just shy of 2 years now and have gained a wealth of knowledge by caring for dogs of different temperaments and personalities. I understand that not all dogs thrive in a kennel environment, my boarding and daycare option is unique as your dog will receive one to one care and attention. There are no kennels, crates - your dog will be in a home from home setting to ensure that they have a positive experience. I grew up with a variety of breeds at home (Siberian Huskies, Samoyeds, Westies, Labradors). I competed in dog shows (both IKC & agri) all over Ireland for nearly a decade so I have a lot of experience handling dogs of different sizes. To put your mind at ease whilst you are away on your travels I will provide you with updates & photos of your dog so I can assure you that your pup is in great hands and having a great time on their own staycation! :] IMPORTANT-PLEASE NOTE: All dogs who require a booking must have up to date vaccinations (incl kennel cough), be regularly wormed & preferably house trained. All dogs who require a booking must be well-socialised and enjoy the company of other dogs and people. My dog boarding rates are for 24 hours so if you are planning on collecting your dog later than the drop off time there will be a late collection fee of €10/€15 depending on how many additional hours are required.
