About Chimene
Animal lover, my husband and I have had dogs all our lives. Having trained dogs for years I now socialise pups for Dogs for the Disabled and find it very rewarding to watch them grow up full of confidence and learn so much so they can go on and change someone's life .
My pets are my family, so live in the house with us. We have one dog now. Sadly, our Elsa, our golden retriever, passed in January .Pippin, our golden doodle is our fur baby .We have a tortoise Shelby . We know how hard it is to find kennels that you feel comfortable leaving your pets with. Let's face it no one knows your pets like you do,
Proper socialisation leads to a happy confident dog ,which is why I only take two dogs for day care at a time and only one dog for boarding at a time (two if from same house) so that they can have my full attention . I always do a meet-up before accepting a booking to make sure your furry friend is comfortable with my pets and that we can discuss all your pets needs and routine. It is important as we are a home that all are comfortable and none are stressed. The animals' welfare comes first. The dogs sleep in the house, and I only accept dogs that do ,be it in a crate or on their own beds.
Your furry friend will be treated as one of our own during its stay and will enjoy all the comforts of our home. We have a fully enclosed garden, and I am at home all day, so your pet will be supervised all the time and have loads of fun and cuddles . We are 10 minutes walk from the beach and 20 minutes walk from the forest , with a lovely river walk close by so loads of interesting walks. Your dog will always be on the lead outside of the house .
I aim to be a home away from home for your dog, and I am delighted that the dogs that have been here love to come back .
