Swedish chalet with 165 X 40 foot gardens, Kilternan, Dublin 18
Two very large gardens AKA play/sniff/running areas for large dogs - shy dogs can find shelter in the pampas grass or the trees or shrubs - adventurous dogs can run wild in the 165 foot by 40 foot gardens - happy dogs will just be happy wherever you place them! Happy walks in the Dublin foothills, food, water and lots of love. My mantra is and always has been - a dog (or, even better, dogs) are a man's best friend!
My three and a half year old (as of August 2019) Samoyed, Luka, can be playful and this should be taken into account before you book with me. I have taken dogs of all ages and he is respectful of older dogs.
House and garden details: the gardens are secured with fences and stone walls on all sides. At the back of the house, we have a concrete wall which was used, years ago, to keep the cows from wandering into the garden (it is now a horse paddock). There are two gates at the entrance to my property and these are kept firmly shut (one is a cow gate and one is a garden gate - both with latches). There are plenty of large bushes and trees to lie under and play around - see pics. All dogs are welcome to wander around the house - I can put up a safety rail if owners do not want their dogs going up the stairs.
I work from home for a company in Hamburg, so am here pretty much all of the time. I have access to a car four days of the week - on these days walks will either be in Shanganagh Park, Bray Promenade (2 kms) or Marlay Park near Ballinteer. The days I do not have access to a car, walks will be in the Kilternan area and I will show prospective dog owners the walk I take on a map I have at home.
I have had dogs all my life and am a huge lover of animals. Please note, there are no cats at my property. Any questions, please ask!
Thank you for reading my post!

Other clients' reviews of Tim John
I would like to thank Timothy once again for minding my presiaous Harley. It was the first time since we got her that I had to leave her with someone and needless to say I was very worried. Timothy's professional approach and genuine love for dogs put me at ease. Regular updates and fun photos and videos made me feel like I wanted to spend a week at Timothy's :). Harley enjoyed the stay, had lots of fun and looked great, we were worried she wouldn't want to come back to us.
Another great stay with Timothy. Fred dashed in excitedly and got his usual lovely warm welcome. We got photos and videos daily while we were away. As ever, the standard of Timothy’s care was exceptional.
Bonnie had another fantastic stay with Timothy. The excitement was high when she saw where she was going. It really is a dog paradise with a massive secure garden for playing.
Another great stay for Fred. I got my usual daily photo updates and I could see that Fred was having the best time. I had to put his lead on and pull him away when it came to bringing him home! Thank you, Timothy, for all your lovely care and attention.
We leave our St Bernard ( Bobbi) with Timothy while we are on holidays. Timothy is hands down such a caring person and i have no worries that Bobbi is well looked after.
Timothy has a very dog friend house, with plenty of space for them to run around.
Gem of a bog minder :)
We have used Timothy many times and each time Mason has a ball! Daily updates provided and lots of walks! Thanks again Timothy!!
