    About Julie

    Myself, my husband and our gorgeous dogs Rita and Mike, live in a charming contemporary split-level cottage in the peaceful surrounds of Ransboro, Co. Sligo smack bang in the middle of the Wild Atlantic Way. Our usual dog walking places are Kellystown, Culleenamore, Strandhill Beach, Killaispuigbron, Hazelwood and Union Wood. We are huge dog lovers and would love to welcome your dog into our home for a mini holiday! If you would like to meet first that's absolutely fine, just drop me a line and we'll arrange a time that suits you and your dog so they're all set for their stay at the Hound Hotel. Please ensure your dogs are up to date with vaccination including kennel cough prior to their stay, for the safety of your dog and ours... 🙏

    Max never stayed with anyone before so I was really nervous leaving him, I met Julie and her husband before I left max and they are a lovely couple with 2 beautiful dogs called Rita and Mike, Max stayed with Julie for 10 days and Julie sent me pictures, updates and videos every day and I could see how happy he was, it really put my mind at rest, I'm already looking for somewhere else to go because I know max will be delighted to stay with Julie and her lovely family, thank you so much Julie for taking such good care of max 🐶 XX

    Julie was a star. She responded to all my questions pre trip promptly. When we arrived she was so welcoming to us all. My dog had had a great time playing with Mike & Rita julies two pets. Julie sent me loads of photos and videos of them playing at the beach and if I’m honest I think my dog wanted to stay rather than come home. I would have no hesitation in recommending Julie to anyone.

    Another fantastic weekend for Yoda with Julie. He is missing his pal Rita, the beach walks and the belly rubs. Thanks so much for taking such good care of him Julie.
