Animal loving mature couple will stay with/live in with your pet at your home.

My husband and I are a mature, non smoking, animal loving, capable and kind,active and clean couple available to look after your pets, preferably in their own home and are available by arrangement when we are happy to hold the fort for you and allow you travel with ease. We are also cat lovers and very happy to stay with your felines. We live in Sandycove and are happy to travel to you regardless of location and find pets are really happiest in their own environment with usual routine and a secure home assured from owners point of view. Happy to take you/collect from airport should you require also. Having just lived in to look after our last 2 owner's dogs in their own homes which has worked out so well and especially so for their happy and content dogs/cats we would highly recommend this and encourage you to do so. You return to a secure and clean home and happy pets. My husband enjoyed doing some maintenance fixes and all were well pleased. . We enjoy all breeds but if you have a Corgi, whippet, greyhound, pug, terrier esp. JRs and Borders, chihuahua, poodle, boston, bulldog and English bull terrier or bichon i just find it difficult to give them back but love them all of course, but do prefer to look after larger or hunting breeds in their own homes where they can enjoy their own routines without disruption. Please don't ask if your dog has behavioural problems, we are of course happy to discuss your needs and understand their quirks and possible former difficulties. We particularly like coastal areas so as we can take the dogs to the beach but are most happy to either walk or drive them to nearest beach if not within walking distance. We really enjoy long walks with the dogs and like to spend time with them. As we are between houses we prefer to look after your pets in their own environment and guarantee they will be very happy with us, with genuine love and affection in abundance. We are available for Howth/Sutton to Dalkey/Killiney/Glenageary/Sandycove areas and happy to meet and greet in advance of course if so desired. We understand how stressful it is having to leave them behind and will make the transition as easy as possible. Until recently, we have always had our own dogs and haven't replaced them due to getting too heartbroken when they sadly demise. Recently we have looked after Spaniels, Bulldogs, Greyhounds/Whippet, Dachs, Staffies and Terriers and a very special deaf pug and similarly deaf English bull terrier and also some beautiful cats from ginger to Maine Coon but we love them all, large and small! In fact, we would encourage you to speak with our owners whose pets we have recently stayed with and looked after, just completing 3 weeks in Howth (second time to look after their dogs and cat this year and booked again in Nov) and prior, 2 weeks in Shankhill for wonderful pair of Spaniels and their gorgeous cat sister. Also, a beautiful nervous cat in Stepaside who made us so happy as he relaxed with us. At the moment we are looking after a wonderful Staffie in Cork who was a rescue and she is such a joy and she has found heaven.
