About Pat
I lived around packs of German Shepherds throughout my childhood, so I inherited the love for dogs at an early age.
As an adult, I have dog sitted my friend’s Jack Russells and my brother’s Shih Tzu. My longest experience was the first one, two Jack Russells I took care of for a year of living at my friend’s place: I was in charge of their walks, feeding, grooming, vet visits, their meds and playtime, while the pet owner had to be away. On top of that, I had the initiative of teaching them tricks to keep their mind exercised, and also practiced crate time for their separation anxiety. For my brother’s dog, I took care of her for no more than a week, making sure I walked her and feed her according to her routine and played with her often since she’s a puppy.
I will make sure to follow the dog's routine and any specific rules that are necessary. I have the eagerness to learn how to accommodate dogs’ boundaries, since I want them to feel safe around me. To adjust to their needs, I always try to give dogs the attention they require, while making the effort to show them respect.
Let me know of your dog's needs. About their routine, behaviors to be aware of, if they're anxious, tricks you want me to reinforce, or if they're unsocial towards other dogs.
So, I’d be more than happy to help you take care of your dog, and I would definitely do my best to meet your expectations :)
