About me
Hi! My name is Iryna, and I’m originally from Ukraine. I’ve loved animals all my life — I grew up with dogs, cats, and other pets, and they’ve always been a big source of joy and comfort for me.

Unfortunately, I had to leave my dog with my family when I moved to Ireland. I miss her a lot and truly miss spending time with animals. I’m currently living in a pet-free rental, but we’re moving soon, and I can’t wait to welcome pets back into my daily life!

Why I want to be a pet sitter / dog walker
I genuinely enjoy being around animals. I’m not working at the moment, so I’m very flexible and can spend as much time with your pet as needed — whether it’s for walks, company, or overnight care at your place.

I’m happy to:
🐾 Walk your dog in parks or around your neighbourhood — whatever suits your pet’s routine
🐾 Stay with your pet at your home
🐾 Give basic medications (if your dog is small or non-aggressive)
🐾 Help with basic training — I attended dog training classes back in Ukraine
🐾 Water your plants and collect your mail while you’re away

I’m responsible, kind, and genuinely passionate about animals. Looking forward to meeting your furry friend soon! As a calm, caring, and responsible person with real love for animals, I treat every dog like part of the family. I have experience caring for both active and older dogs and I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully. I enjoy walking, playing, and giving dogs the attention they deserve. During a sitting, I make sure your dog feels safe, loved, and comfortable. I follow feeding schedules, provide fresh water, go for regular walks (depending on your dog’s needs), and make time for play and cuddles. If your dog has special needs or medication, I’m happy to follow instructions carefully. I send photo and text updates so you feel relaxed while you’re away. I have loved animals all my life. Back home in Ukraine, I have my own dog — a 10-year-old Golden Retriever named , so I truly understand how much care and attention dogs need, especially as they get older. I’ve also looked after pets for friends and neighbours — including daily walks, feeding, giving medication, and overnight stays. I am calm, caring, and very responsible. I treat every dog with the same love I give to my own. I currently live in Cavan and would be happy to help families who need a kind and trusted pet sitter or dog walker. At the moment, I’m living in rented accommodation in Cavan, so I’m not able to take pets into my home out of respect for my landlord’s rules. However, we are planning to move into our own house very soon, and once that happens, I’ll be happy to welcome dogs for day care or overnight stays — even for several days if needed.
