About Garret
Born in Dublin, I’ve lived in Cavan and moved back to Dublin 15 years ago. I’ve had dogs all my life and vast experience caring for small and big dogs. I’ve first hand experience of a Great Dane knocking me over, a hyperactive Alsatian, Irish wolfhounds and lots of small dogs!
I am a very patient and considerate and care about every dog as if they are my own. I have a good sense of a dogs character and good at reading what they need and understanding how they’re feeling. I also love to go on a walk!
I’ve been surrounded by dogs all my life. I’ve owned a Great Dane, Alsatian, lab, Yorkshire terrier and Jack Russell’s. Recently I cared for an Irish Wolfhound. I have experience dealing with different temperaments and playful natures.
I have a large sitting area where the dog can sleep. I have a large green right outside my house in a quiet suburb and I like to walk in St Anne’s park and on the sea front. There’s a 10 step stairwell up to the apartment so the dog would need to be comfortable with being carried or walking up stairs. I work from home at least 3 days a week so our canine friend won’t be alone. I don’t have any pets on the property at the moment so if you’re dog is nervous with animals that won’t be an issue
