About Thamiris
Hi there! I’m Thamiris, 24 years old and from Brazil 🇧🇷🐾
My love for dogs followed me all the way to Ireland — literally! I’ve had dogs my whole life, and the hardest part of moving here was leaving my 6-year-old shih tzu with his grandma back home.
Back in Brazil, I worked with my mom — my biggest inspiration. Together, we built a pet grooming business, and our home became a little hotel for dogs. Yep, they literally slept in our beds — mine or my mom’s! 🥹
Now, I try to fill the space my own dogs left behind by caring for yours with the same love and joy.
Until I can bring my son 6-year-old shih tzu over, I’m here to share love, care, and fun walks with your pup like they’re part of my own family! 🐶✨
Feel free to check out our work back in Brazil on Instagram: @_staardog 😉
And I'm sorry, but I still don't speak a really good English, but I will get there!
As an English student, I’m available from 1:30 PM onward, and I don’t have a breed preference — I truly believe every dog is beautiful in their own special way! 💕
Before each walk, I like to understand a bit more about the dog’s personality and energy. I might start by considering the breed (for example, a Border Collie will probably have more energy than a Pug), but what really matters is what your dog enjoys! That’s why I always ask:
– What does your dog like to play?
– Does he/she enjoy fetch, or maybe games that involve using their nose, like finding hidden toys?
– Does your pup prefer active runs or a calmer stroll with sniff breaks Dogs who get to sniff during walks come home more relaxed. 🐶🌿
Because walking isn’t just physical — it’s mental too!
– Any restrictions or anxieties I should be aware of?
Most importantly: what’s your dog’s love language? 🥰
As I mentioned, I’ve had dogs my whole life, and there’s no better teacher than hands-on experience.
On top of that, I worked as a grooming assistant, took dogs for walks, and also cared for them at home in our little dog hotel whenever needed. 🐾💖
At the moment, I’m not able to host dogs in my home because I live with my sister and her husband in an apartment that doesn’t have much space for us to play the way they deserve.
Also, the flooring isn’t ideal for their little paws. 🐾
But I’d be more than happy to care for your pup in your home — or simply take them out to enjoy the day, get some exercise, and explore all the good smells out there! 🐶☀️💛
