I am a life long animal lover and owner and have a dog called Alfie and a cat called Gypsy . I also look after my elderly mother’s dog and walk her daily. I have looked after friends pets and now I want to pursue it as a part time job. I have always been wanted to spend more time with dogs and cats as I’ve always preferred them to people. I am currently also caring for my elderly mother on a part time basis and have some time on my hands, I’d like to spend it with animals and helping people out with a reliable service as I know it’s very difficult to get someone you can trust to take care of pets or walk them etc I cannot have the dogs in my house at the moment as my dog wouldn’t allow it but can go to the dogs home and take them out or spend time with them etc I am very active and love walking. I would be available in and around Galway city and would be available 7 days a week except when I’m away. I am a very sociable person and I have years of experience dealing with cats and dogs and also horses as my daughter had a pony for years and attended the local equestrian centre. I am very trustworthy and have held many professional positions during my years of employment. I have had dogs all my life and have taken care of my parents dogs and neighbours and friends over the years. I absolutely love dogs and all animals. I would volunteer to walk or feed friends pets for free and loved it. Dogs make me happy and I love spending time with them. My own dog is nearly 14 and I miss long walks with him so I’ll be happy to walk other people’s dogs now as he just likes the small walks and pottering and I don’t like walking without a dog. I have a house with a small garden but unless my dog is in my mother’s I won’t be able to have them in my house. I live near Dangan and Salthill so there are lots of places to walk. I’m also available to care for pets in their own home as most prefer to be at home in their own environment and can call to play and stay for whatever is required and bring them out in the car and walks etc
