About Owen
Hi there! My name is Owen, I'm 28 and from the US. I've had dogs as a part of my family my whole life. My wife and I currently live in Dublin with our terrier mix and Brittany spaniel, so unfortunately would be unable to bring pets to my own home. I grew up in a household that never had less than 3 animal companions at a time and am excellent with pets. I've never had an unfriendly encounter with any and don't plan to. I know how to read their emotions and more importantly know how to act accordingly to what they're saying. My family loves dogs and I've helped train or have trained on my own about 6-7 dogs in my life. Cats are great as well! I've always had cats around and am happy to care for them too. In addition to cats and dogs, I've grown up with birds, reptiles and even farm animals, so I'm capable and willing to work with them as well. Through family and friends I've been around the veterinary field a lot (NOT an expert by any means) and have gained helpful knowledge to keep pets happy and healthy. I love animals and so far in life I've found they love me. Searching for work to pet sit to help pay bills but more importantly to continue to meet and be around lovable critters.
I’ve never lived in a house without dogs and cats. I’m great with animals and care about them and their happiness a lot. I know how to act around pets and know how to keep them happy and healthy. I have lots of availability and am willing to bike up to 20-30 mins for walks and check-ins on your furry loved ones
I’ve been around, lived with and trained dogs all my life. My house had 2-3 cats as pets as well my whole childhood. On top of that I have had birds and reptiles and experience with all manner of animals. My wife and other friends and family work in veterinary medicine, I am by no means an expert/professional but these connections have given me great knowledge to keep pets happy and healthy.
My wife and I live in a one bedroom flat with our own two dogs, so unfortunately I cannot board any dogs or cats. We do have space for smaller caged pets but would need to discuss details for boarding.
