About Laura
My motivation to become a pet sitter coinsides with my ambition to become a veterinarian. I love spending time and helping not only animals but people as well. I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. I know how much pets mean to the family and can assure you your pet with be safe and cared for. My previous experience includes four years working at small animal hospitals as a Veterinary Assistant where I helped the doctors with dogs and cats. I have also spent over two years on a dairy farm expanding my large animal experience. In addition I have watched many animals at people's homes so the pet was not lonely as their owner went on holiday. I have watched dogs, cats, birds, and reptiles. My services include dog sitting, doggy day care, and home visits. I look forward to hearing from you and seeing all your adorable furry babies.
I care for all breeds alike small and large. I have experience giving medications like insulin and orals. I can clean ears and nail trims as well. I am comfortable with behavioral complications upon knowing the circumstances and meeting the dog. I am very understanding and open to challenges.
I have experience the last 4 years in animal hospitals as a veterinary assistant and currently in school at UCD learning veterinary medicine. I also have experience at guidedog helping service animals. I have a passion for helping animals as a life long mission.
I have an apartment with a front yard and live near many parks. I live in a safe neighborhood that has many walking routes near by. I have no other pets living with me so you can assure that your dog will get full attention.
