About Kelsey
Hello!
My name is Kelsey Conley and I am a dog lover who is lucky enough to be able to look after pups when needed. I am relatively new to Bettystown, having bought just last year. I live in a detached house on 1/3 of an acre with plenty of yard space for play. Your dog can safely play and socialize with my dog in my secure, spacious yard.
I have a Golden Retriever named Flint, who is on the small size for his breed. He is only 10 months old, but because of growing up with his Great Pyrenees "cousin" next door, has great manners for his age. He is an excitable boy, but is very capable of calming down near dogs who are nervous or uninterested in play.
I have A LOT of experience working with dogs... I've outlined some of them below!
-Extensive experience: I've had dogs all of my life, founded and ran a university club with over 400 members that provided volunteers to a local service dog company. In this time, I worked with service dogs 3 - 7 days per week. I attained my public access certification for service dogs and service dogs in training.
-Training assistance at no extra cost: I can help your pup with some basic training and behavior reinforcement while they're in my care.
-Part-time, fully flexible schedule: I work from home with complete flexibility, so I can devote as much time as your dog needs for attention, play, and care.
-Daycare for socialization: I believe dogs thrive on social interaction, so even if you don’t need a sitter, I offer doggie daycare to provide your pup with much-needed social time.
-Discounts for repeat guests: Loyalty is rewarded with special discounts for return visits.
-Dog body language expertise: With experience working in a doggie daycare with over 50 dogs, I understand dog play styles and body language to ensure your pup is happy and safe.
If you are considering booking with me, I would LOVE to meet your pup to see if doggie daycare with me is a good fit. I'm happy to sit with you for as long as you like over a cup of tea to talk all about your pup's favorite games, needs, and quirks. I'd also love for you to get to know Flint so you can be as comfortable leaving your good boy/girl with me for the day.
***Due to a current knee injury, I am only able to take one small dog at a time and won't be able to provide walks on the beach as a service. While I'm able to walk a small dog without issue, I never know what type of dog we might run into on the beach. I will only ever allow myself to provide top quality care, so it's best to avoid any unexpected situations at this time.
