    About Laurie

    Diploma in Animal Care. Animal lover ❤️ Previously worked as a zoo keeper and in an Animal sanctuary with dog kennels in the UK. We have our own very friendly beagle at home so your dog will be well minded and have great company. Walkies in the local woods every day, lots of fuss and attention. We love all dogs however small dogs are more suited to our home. Henry the beagle sleeps on the couch and would love a snuggle buddy. We have a small, walled garden with lots to sniff and dig. I studied a two year Diploma in Animal Care and worked in Colchester Zoo and an animal sanctuary kennels in Kent. I have volunteered with the Gspca fostering dogs short term in the past. I am a member of a beagle meet up group of about 20 beagles. Needless to say, dogs are never far from my side. I have a small but cosy home with a walled garden. My own dog has never been keen on a dog bed so sleeps on the couch. There are a number of beautiful countryside walks surrounding our home. Monivea woods, Derrydonnal woods and Loughrea lake are also some of our favourite walking spots.

    Laurie and her daughter took our very needy cavapoo for 5 nights. Couldn’t have asked for someone better! Photos sent everyday and once we got home, we could tell he wasn’t stressed at all & had a great time. Highly recommended Laurie

    Harry had a great time with Laurie and her dog Henry - she really looked after him and you could tell he was content when I collected him. She was really kind and friendly and treated Harry like her own. Harry loved having another buddy to play with during the day too! Laurie sent me updates and pics of Harry settling in, would definitely recommend her services 🐕

    I can't recommend Laurie, Alice and her dog Henry highly enough! From the moment we met, they were incredibly warm and welcoming, putting both me and my dog Koji at ease. Their genuine love for animals really showed, and they took such great care and attention to my dog’s needs. Communication was excellent throughout, Laurie sent lots of pictures and I felt reassured knowing my dog was in such capable hands. If you're looking for someone who goes above and beyond in caring for your pet Laurie is the perfect choice!
