    About Laurie

    Diploma in Animal Care. Animal lover ❤️ Previously worked as a zoo keeper and in an Animal sanctuary with dog kennels in the UK. We have our own very friendly beagle at home so your dog will be well minded and have great company. Walkies in the local woods every day, lots of fuss and attention. We love all dogs however small dogs are more suited to our home. Henry the beagle sleeps on the couch and would love a snuggle buddy. We have a small, walled garden with lots to sniff and dig. I studied a two year Diploma in Animal Care and worked in Colchester Zoo and an animal sanctuary kennels in Kent. I have volunteered with the Gspca fostering dogs short term in the past. I am a member of a beagle meet up group of about 20 beagles. Needless to say, dogs are never far from my side. I have a small but cosy home with a walled garden. My own dog has never been keen on a dog bed so sleeps on the couch. There are a number of beautiful countryside walks surrounding our home. Monivea woods, Derrydonnal woods and Loughrea lake are also some of our favourite walking spots.

    Laurie was great. She kept in touch and sent us on some pictures. She also got us out of a bind last minute after someone had let us down which we really appreciated. Would highly recommend and would definitely send our doggo to her again.

    Extremely accommodating when minding Roo when she had no power after a storm and allowing an early morning drop-off. Did her utmost to keep communication open even when coverage was down for both of us. Great sitter.

    We are so so thankful to Laurie and her lovely daughter Alice for taking such good care of Cooper for the weekend. Laurie took cooper on a very last minute request after we were let down by another boarding service. Cooper warmed to Laurie and her daughter instantly and we cannot thank them enough for taking such good care of him after a particularly stressful event. Laurie sent alot of updates to reassure us Cooper was getting on well. Cooper came home very happy yesterday which is a sign he had a great time!! We will never be able to thank them enough. We would highly recommend Laurie and her lovely daughter to other dog owners ⭐️
