German Shepherd Dog

We had another GSD who passed away last year. We got Brody in August 2018. We were away a few times since and we put him into Precious Paws, in Glenmore, Co Kilkenny. Our problem is Mags (the owner), while she is absolutely mad about him, told us he can’t settle in the crate overnight. (Marley used to love it there). The reason we sent him to Mags is that she has a large open garden and he loves the outdoors. Brody sleeps upstairs in our house and has a bed in our room, plus the free run of the house. As a GSD he has a sensitive stomach and we have him On Hills ID food. We only want the best for him and feel that he is being restricted in the crate which is causing him further distress. We bring him to Inn The Doghouse, daycare centre twice a week and he is very good with other dogs when we go walking. He has a good knowledge of basic commands and loves human attention. We have a business premises in both Waterford and Wexford and I bring him with me during the day to work, so he meets a lot of different people and has never shown aggression. He will bark at strangers at home when they are outside but is content when we invite them into the house. Thank You.
