Rio is a lovely dog who loves nothing more than a cuddle! She unfortunately suffered from IVDD (a disease common to dachshunds) around 2 years ago and had to have surgery on her back. She’s loads better now but doesn’t walk for long anymore (~10mins in the morning and 10mins in the afternoon). She also has to be careful on slippery floors and can’t jump but she loves being carried around so not really an issue! She’s the perfect companion for sitting on the sofa and loves being around people.

A morning walk when we first get up (anytime between 8.30 and 11am) for 10mins and an afternoon walk around 3-5pm for 10mins, then an evening pee before bed around 9pm
