Helen’s Doggie Retreat

Hello, my name is Helen and welcome to my Gudog profile! I am here to offer my doggy day care services to your furry loved ones. I live with my partner in Co. Wicklow. I am certified in Animal Welfare and I have a keen interest in Dog emotion and cognition. I also used to be a volunteer with the ISPCA in Co. Longford. I am all too familiar with the stress and worry of finding the ideal sitter. So I understand the importance of finding a loving home with someone who would treat their dog like a family member. Your dogs will be staying in our house with us and will receive lots of love and attention. I accommodate up to two dogs at a time. This is so your dog will feel more at ease and more at home. I have a large fully enclosed garden which they can come and go as they please during the day. They will always be supervised when in the garden. We have doors on all of the rooms downstairs so if your dog likes to have some quiet time or when it comes to bedtime I am able to give them there own space. We are surrounded by amazing forests and there is a lovely walk just behind our house as you can see from the pictures. Your dog will receive two walks a day, in the morning and afternoon. (Or however often your dog needs) I accept all ages and breeds from small to large. Your dog/s must be spayed/ neutered (once over the age of 9 months). If your dog has any special requirements or needs please let me know when booking. You will need to provide their food, bowls, lead, collar/harness, beds and toys. They must also be chipped and fully vaccinated. Please confirm this when making the booking. Day Care hours run from 7am to 6pm. Oh yes and complimentary treats through out their stay!
