I am a Veterinary Nurse. I graduated from UCD with a BSc in Veterinary Nursing. I firmly believe that dogs are a member of your family and would never dream of putting any of mine into a kennel environment. As a result I would like to offer the same service to you.
Your dog will come and live with myself and my four dogs (Dumpty, Mia, Sprout and Amber) in a clean and healthy household (non smoking) and will be treated like one of the family while you are away. They are supervised at all times, 24/7 and never left alone. We have a large (1 acre) fully enclosed garden and paddocks for your dogs to play in. There are also a number of great walks very close to us (Oakvale woods, Kellyville Lake and Discovery Park are all less than a 15 minute drive from us). Your dog will get daily walks, play time, frozen kongs, socialisation and interaction. We have a doggy paddling pool which the dogs love during the summer!
As I am a RVN I am more than happy to give any necessary medication and know how to administer it correctly.
I also offer an additional grooming service so your dog can return to you with a fresh cut and blowdry if you wish.
You can find me on Facebook (Vet Nurse Pet Care Ireland) or Instagram (vetnursepetcare) if you would like to keep up with everything going on here. Of course I will send you daily updates so you won't need to worry about your furbaby while you are away.
Dogs must be fully vaccinated, including kennel cough (these must be completed at least 2 weeks prior to boarding and vaccine card must be provided at drop-off) and treated for parasites. A correctly fitting harness is preferred for walks. All bedding, toys, treats/kongs, bowls and leads are provided here. I am happy to provide food for your dog, although it is best if you could bring your dog's normal food to avoid an upset tummy if food is suddenly changed.
Hope this helps.
