Gabrielle's Doggie Paradise

Hi I'm Gabrielle and I would love to be your dog sitter, I have had dogs for most of my life and they have always been a huge part of the family. My most recent dog was a gorgeous corgi, Tilly. She was a rescue dog I got from Dogs in Distress in 2009. She was an amazing dog, but sadly she died in 2014. I worked part time (weekends and during Summer holidays) in the Animal Welfare Clinic on Charlemont St. and had a fantastic opportunity to work with all types of dogs and enjoyed their wonderfully different personalities. I learnt a huge amount about dogs during this time. I live in an apartment in Rathfarnham Village...a beautiful location opposite Rathfarnham Castle and park. The dogs I mind get lots of walks here, along the stunning River Dodder, in Bushy Park and in St. Enda's Park. There's lots of variety and of course lots of interesting smells! My apartment has an open plan kitchen, dining room, and cosy living room where any guest dog will sleep. Here there's a very cosy bed with lots of soft blankets and cushions to ensure the dog feels at home. I can take are small and medium sized dogs. I check the dog's diet with the owner, what type of food he/she eats and if there are any specific dietary requirements, also how many times a day the dog eats and of course if he/she is allowed an odd treat! I'm also very comfortable administering oral medication if required. I can't wait to have your dog come and stay with me, all guest dogs will be taken care of like a member of the family They'll be sure to get lots of cuddles, TLC and playtime!
