About Laura
Hi, I'm Laura,
Myself and my partner Dan, live with our two girls Indy and Trudi in a quiet estate in Stillorgan.
In the past I've worked for a veterinary practice and volunteered in animal shelters. Lots of foster dogs have passed through our home on their way to a new life. I have plenty of experience with all kinds of dogs in a variety of different professions.
My house is a converted bungalow with a large, fully enclosed garden. I'm available all year round for minding your dog here.
The dogs can go in and out as they please throughout the day and I take them to our fully enclosed dog training field in Enniskerry to exercise them. The dogs sleep in the sun room and have their choice of a number of beds - most choose the couch!
I compete regularly in dog agility and also run a dog training school in Enniskerry called WaggyMamas Agility. This year myself and my dogs will be part of two teams that represent our country in international competitions abroad. I take lots of our guests with me to work. When I am at competitions with my own girls, Dan looks after the guests.
We only take small, sociable and easy-going dogs. (It's fine if they can be a little bit grumpy.)
Guests must be neutered, up to date with their vaccinations including kennel cough and get on well with other dogs. Nervous dogs and dogs with a little crankiness are also welcome. We can discuss how to make your dog feel more comfortable for their stay.
I am fully qualified in canine first response.
